Elves:
Elves are a tall and slender race. They can live up to 500 years, although some can become 650 years or older. The oldest living Elf is S'el uth Rahemonid, also known amongst Humans as Selhem. It's been said he is 748 years of age, and is well respected in Calania for his Wisdom. Elves are nearly as common as Humans are. There are several different races of Elves known. The Wood Elves live in the southwestern parts of Calania. They are very reserved towards other races, and live mostly hidden in the woods. The Common Elves who live all over Calania and can be found nearby most places where Humans live. They are the most open sort of Elves towards other Races. They are known to live and work with Humans. Most of the Common Elves live in the center parts of Calania. Magic is for Elves a way of life. They are very spiritual and stand close to nature. Most Wood and Common Elves practice White Magic, although there are always exceptions.
And then there are The Dark Elves. They live mostly in the Eastern parts of Calania, nearby the woodlands of Neg'Rak Mountains. They don't care for other living creatures. They are small in numbers, but feared all over Calania. They have no contact with other Races, accept for those who stand against all forces of Good, like Orcs, Minotaurs, Dragonairs and Undead for instance. They practice only the Black Arts of Magic, and Necromancy.
Professions: Warrior, Wizard/Sorcerer/Necromancer, Cleric, Ranger, Archer and combinations of the above.
