Getting Started??? What do you need?

To start a Game of Infinite Quest, you need to download some things from our Download Section. Ready made adventures (including extra boards, cards and special instructions) can be found on the Adventure pages.

   - Monster list
   - Character Sheets + Character list.
   - Gaming cards.
   - Gaming Board + City Board.
   - Battle Dice stickers.
   - Miscellaneous (Doors, treasure chests etc.)
   - Adventures to play (or write them yourself).
   - Secret Fonts
After you have downloaded all of the above, you are nearly set to go. All you have to do now, is unzipping the files to a map on your computer, and open the files so you can print them. Be sure you have WinZip and Acrobat Reader 5 or higher installed on your computer otherwise the files can't be used.

The monster list is used to look up the monsters strength, experience points for killing them and so on. The character sheets are used by the players to write down the heroes abilities. The gaming cards are used during the game (have to be cut and glued together) The Gaming board have to be cut and glued on a piece of cardboard. The Battle dice Stickers have to be printed on piece of Sticker paper (can be bought at most office supply stores). After you have printed them, you must cut them out of the piece of paper and you can stick them on a normal sized, 6-sided dice. Miscellaneous can be printed on a thin piece of cardboard or thick (photo) printing paper.

Tip for the best printing results:

The best printing results can be made by using photo printing paper to print your tiles. Why you say? Because the photo paper is much thicker than normal printing paper, and the structure is very fine. This gives a great printing result. We just found this out by accidence. Our normal paper was all used up, and I had to use photo printing paper as a substitute. I was amazed by the difference. You can buy this paper at nearly every computer store or office supply store. I know it's a bit more expensive then normal paper, but you'll be surprised about the difference between the two final results. Another advantage is that you won't have to glue the print on a piece of cardboard, because the paper is much thicker and more firm. It will look like a piece of gaming board (with a glossy finish), made by a professional manufacturer (and you did it all, by yourself). Printing the Gaming cards on photo paper gives them enough thickness and strength to last for many adventures.

Important note:

Most things in the download section have to be printed and assembled to be ready for use in the game. Always be careful when you use Scissors or a cutting knife (we don't want to get sued over this, so don't say we didn't warn you ).
